Setting a Static IP Address
If you are trying to connect a phone, tablet, or computer to your lighting/sound system using a wireless connection, your device may receive an IP address automatically, if your system is using a wireless router. (Please see Do I Have a Wireless Router or AP?.) If that is the case, you do not need to follow these steps, your device will be configured automatically.
However, if your system is using a wireless access point (AP), you will likely need to set a Static IP for your wireless connection. Please see the following pages for guidance, depending on the device type you are using.
