Do I have a wireless router or a wireless AP?

Depending on your specific install situation, you may have either a wireless router, or one or more wireless access points (APs). You can tell whether you have a wireless router or a wireless AP based on its model and appearance.

The wireless router KSL typically uses is a TP-Link AX1800. It is a black rectangle, has 4 visible antennas, and has 6 green LEDs on the front of the unit.

The wireless AP KSL typically uses is a TP-Link EAP610. It is a white circle with no visible antennas, and has one blue/orange/white LED on the flat surface of the unit.

If you have a lighting network provided solely by ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls), you may have a Netgear WAX610 access point. It is a white square with the NETGEAR logo, and four blue/orange/white LEDs on the flat surface of the unit.
